Hosted at Aragam — The official athletic delegation and academy administration have formally published specifications regarding this upcoming championship event.
Bandipora: The District Bandipora Pencak Silat Association is set to conduct its Official Annual District Bandipora Pencak Silat Championship 2026 on September 12 and 13 at Government Primary Boys School, Aragam, Bandipora.
The championship will bring together boys and girls Pencak Silat athletes from across District Bandipora and will serve as an important platform for district-level selection and trials, as well as selection for upcoming UT and national-level competitions.
Participation has been made compulsory for all active and regular Pencak Silat athletes of the district. Athletes failing to participate without prior approval or a valid reason accepted by the Association may not be considered eligible for future district, UT or national-level selection and competitions.
The registration deadline is September 9, 2026. Athletes have been advised to complete their registration before the deadline and ensure their presence on both days of the championship.

Notes to Editors:
- When a participant reaches four or more demerit points within a competitive 24-month cycle, they are converted into suspension points resulting in temporary match bans.
- Two suspension points equate to a mandatory ban from one Test fixture or two ODIs / T20Is, whichever comes first for the athlete.
- Demerit points remain on an athlete or support personnel's formal disciplinary ledger for a period of twenty-four (24) months from their imposition, following which they will be expunged.
