SHEIKH ADNAN FAYAZ

Sheikh Adnan Fayaz Taekwondo Athlete Sheikh Adnan Fayaz is a dedicated Taekwondo athlete whose sporting journey began at Alis Sports Academy in 2015. Initially introduced to Wushu, Adnan gradually developed a strong passion for Taekwondo and decided to pursue the sport seriously. Under the guidance of his coach, Fasil Sir, Adnan worked consistently to develop his skills, confidence, discipline, and competitive abilities. His journey at Alis Sports Academy provided him with more than just sporting training. The academy became a place where he learned the importance of discipline, commitment, respect, perseverance, and responsibility. Adnan’s dedication earned him opportunities to compete at state, national, and international levels. One of the defining moments of his career came in 2017, when he was selected to participate in an International Taekwondo Championship in Thailand. Competing in three fights, he won all three and secured a Gold Medal, marking one of the proudest achievements of his sporting career. Following his success in Thailand, Adnan also participated in an International Taekwondo Championship in Malaysia, gaining valuable international competitive experience and further strengthening his skills as an athlete. Beyond his achievements in competition, Adnan credits Taekwondo with shaping his character and outlook on life. The discipline of sports helped him remain focused on his goals and stay away from negative influences and bad habits. Through training and competition, he learned to respect others, remain committed to his goals, accept both victory and defeat, and continuously work towards becoming a better and more responsible person. Adnan is deeply grateful to his parents for their constant support and encouragement, particularly his father, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, whose support played an important role in helping him continue his sporting journey and pursue his ambitions. Adnan remains thankful to Alis Sports Academy and his coach Fasil Sir for providing him with the platform, training, and guidance that shaped his development as an athlete and as an individual. For Sheikh Adnan Fayaz, Taekwondo has always been about more than medals. It has given him discipline, confidence, purpose, perseverance, and values that continue to guide him in life.
